Our bead pattern is staggered so the bottom of the blade has separation from the top hook eye. Over the years we found this to increase hook up ratios. It also helps protect the knot on the top hook, since the blade isn't nicking the knot. We primarily use them to target walleye on the Great Lakes. Each rig comes with instructions for use to help those trying crawler harnesses for the first time.
