10-24-22 Lake Erie Perch Fishing Report

Location : Western Basin - Curtice OH Area

The western basin waters of Lake Erie continue to produce good catch rates of Yellow Perch. The little cedar point and water intake areas have been consistently producing fish the last few weeks. 17-20' of water has been best. Our Perch Fly Rigs continue to produce coolers full of fish. The Lake Erie Islands area and Huron waters are also producing some fish. Michigan waters near Stony Point have produced some decent bags of yellow perch recently, but not a lot of talk is coming from the Michigan waters just yet. Thanks to Fully Involved Sportfishing Charters for the info and keeping everyone up to date with fresh reports!

Clip from Captain Brandon's Report below

" Greg had brought along some spreaders, but after the first 20 minutes he was way behind our catch rate and I advised him to try a Fishing Addiction Gear Perch Fly Rig, and he never went back! Steve was also new to these rigs and tried one right away, he never went for one of his poles either! He will be ordering some for himself if he didn’t yet. "
