10-28-22 Detroit River Walleye Report

The Detroit River fall jig bite has been heating up! The last week has been generating a lot of steady action. Mid-River and the upper river have been most productive. Captain Nick has been doing well in 37-43' of water. We haven't heard much on the lower end yet, although there should be walleye in the lower river now between Calf to Celeron Island. 14-20' would be our suggested target depth for the lower end this time of year. We have the river essential tackle in stock. Jigs, 4'' Split Tail Minnows and Stinger hooks are in stock and ready to ship!
