11-23-22 Lake Erie Walleye Fishing Report
happy thanksgiving to everyone!
With the weather breaking, many anglers will be out on Lake Erie enjoying this beautiful weather over the holiday weekend. Remember to do your boat checks, grab your safety gear and be safe! It's always awesome to get a break in the weather around the Thanksgiving holiday. We typically fish on Black Friday when possible and it looks like many anglers will get the chance to do so this year! Good luck!

Fishing Report
Launch Location - Vermillion, OH Area of Lake Erie
Captain Denny Sharrone with 22 Sportfishing Charters provides us with the details of this fishing report.
We fished out of Vermillion today in 45-47fow. The morning bite was best for us running Bandit Walleye Deep Cranks 80'-120' back unassisted. Late morning through afternoon the bite was best with 2oz snap weights added. The active fish were deeper in the water column as the day went on. 50/2oz/80'-100' back took over unassisted cranks as the day went on. Color didn't seem to matter as all colors were firing. Speed stayed fairly fast and we were running 1.7-1.9 mph. The sun warmed things up and it quickly became T-Shirt weather! Can't beat that in November!
