11-3-22 Lake Erie Walleye Fishing Report
Fishing on Lake Erie remains great and so does the November weather! Captain Bob with Meals on Reelz Charters had another fantastic walleye trolling trip with 70 degree temps and no wind! Sounds like June in November! Bob Greene continues to utilize our 4 Caddy Track Mount System with an Extra Tall Riser to keep his Offshore Boards, pliers and other gear all in one spot! Bandits and Reapers continue to produce an excellent grade of fish! 40-45' of water east of the Lake Erie Islands continues to produce great results day after day. Fishing has been steady all the way to Lorain. Some days the deep fish are more active, some days the high fish are. Run a mix of unassisted high leads and snap weights and figure out what's working that day or in that school!
Captain Bobs Report Below!
I left where I had been fishing due to huge crowds. I try my best to avoid congestion. I had to do a little searching, but we found a good bite well away from the madness.
We started off in search mode doing a lot of graphing. There are a ton of small pockets of fish. Every time I would stop because I was marking good fish, the screen went blank a short time after. None the less, we eventually hit gold, and it was on. Lots of doubles and a triple. It then slowed to a pick, but then it was back to the races.
The same program I've been running in weeks past, but the higher leads of 50 to 85 were best. Speed didn't seem to matter today.
They got their limit, then played catch and release for a while thereafter. I left my slot of 6 open in case I go this evening. Lots of fish caught, and they ended up with an excellent cooler of fish. I have Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday open next week. Let's go catch some fish!
