11-5-2023 Lake Erie Walleye Fishing Report

Saturday 11/4/23 - 3 man limit, Chrome Bandits unassisted 70-90 back was best for us in 37-38fow. We found that slowing down our speed triggered a better bite, started out at 1.8-2.0 mph and ended up 1.2-1.3mph.

Sunday 11/5/23 -3 man limit . Started out with same program and depth as the day before. We got 7 fish in the live well and the bite died. We went searching deeper water for a feeding pod and hopefully bigger fish. We found what we were looking for in 44fow. The program changed to P-10s assisted with a 2 oz snap weight at various leads from 15/15, 25/25, 30/30 @ 1.2-.1.4mph. We picked up 5 fish all over 25 inches out of that pod and quickly got our limit.
The biggest fish of the weekend was 26.5 inches, 8.01lbs. Fish will only keep getting bigger. Look forward to another awesome fall derby. Good luck, tight lines and most importantly be safe.
