11-7-21 Lake Erie Walleye Report
Fenwick Marina - Oak Harbor, OH
Snuck in a quick trip on this Sunday We fished late morning and ended around 1pm. Best bite window for us was between 12:15-1pm. Fish moved from where they were two days ago. After an adjustment and a mile or so move, we got on them. The Storm Chaser Bandit did the majority of the damage today at 100 back unassisted. The rod it was tied on was our workhorse, pulling half the fish alone! Caught a few on snap weights and a few way up high at 20 back. Reapers and Husky hj12s also pulled a few. Speed was 1.9-2.4 today. Water temp 54. Water was still an off gray/blue with a silty look to it. Visibility was around 2ft, which was an improvement from Friday. The ticket for us today was trolling against the waves. Couldn't buy a bite going with the waves. Lighter bite today, caught our limit but had 6 come unglued. Released some as well. After noon, they started biting much better than in the morning for us. The lake started fairly rough but was down to 1ft or less by 1pm and is absolutely gorgeous now! Good luck if you are out! What an awesome fall day on the water!
