12-11-22 Lake Erie Walleye Fishing Report

The year is winding down but the walleye fishing on Lake Erie remains strong. Just a few weeks from Christmas and the new year. Hard to believe we could be walking on ice soon! Time sure does fly. We have another fresh fishing report for you! Captain Denny and his crew had another great day on Lake Erie. FISHING REPORT

Launch Location - Cleveland, OH Area of Lake Erie

Captain Denny Sharrone with 22 Sportfishing Charters provides us with the details of this fishing report.

Fished out of Cleveland this trip. The action was fast early then tapered to a nice pick around 10:30am. Our best bite was in 32fow but I also heard of great bites in 42fow. Bandits did all the work at 45-100 back unassisted in the big westbound rollers. White or green bodied baits were best in the lightly stained water. I needed to keep a close eye on the speed because the waves and current were pretty wild. 1.6-1.8 mph produced the most consistent action. We caught some great size fish today.
