7-12-24 Lake Erie Perch Report - Islands Area 
Captain William McConnell & crew had a great day!
What a great day on Mother Erie prospecting for them gold Nuggets. Brian Heffner and Mickey made the drive over from Pennsylvania to chase some perch. This is their second year chasing perch with me. We found their limits of gold Nuggets. We left out of Catawba and bounced around the islands, looking for hungry ones. Great quality of fish and only a few baby perch were caught today. Mickey pointed them out when I caught them. Lol. There was plenty of laughs today and maybe a little bit of competition being Brian and Mickey. I tried to be the neutral party in the boat, but it was too much fun to jump in on the fun. Mickey had a good battle with a nice lake erie catfish on an ultra light. We have become good friends since they been coming out fishing. Looking forward to fishing with them again. Mickey liked the Perch Fly Rigs so much I sent him home with one , new in the package.
