7-25-24 Lake Erie Perch Report - Port Clinton, OH
WOW!! Perch fishing was HOT today! 
We launched from Catawba State Park. Everywhere we looked from south of Green Island towards C can in 28 feet of water was loaded with perch. We caught equally well on the Fishing Addiction Gear Perch Fly Rigs and their Perch Slammer Rigs. We held the Fly rig rods and used the Slammer Rigs as "knocker rods" (basically a dead stick...that wasn't really dead in 3 footers, LOL). We used Vodka Shiners that I froze at this time last year and they obviously worked awesome as usual!! Link to vodka shiner instructions below.
