9-3-22 Lake Erie Walleye Fishing Report

Day two fishing out East in the central basin of Lake Erie did not disappoint. The walleye were absolutely stacked and hungry. 71-72' of water was very productive. Same as the day before, we didn't target walleye until afternoon and it was still game on. Filled the cooler with BIG fish and a bonus steelhead in a few hours. Badmo Spoons in the 3.5'' mighty mo did most of the work with the Michigan Stinger Standard Spoons pulling fish as well. Size 1 Dipsy Divers on 0 and 3 settings. 0 setting 100-110' back and the 3 setting 180-200' back. Speed was 2.7-3.0 mph. S turns were popping fish. They wanted a quick change and the turns would usually buy a bite. Water temp was between 77-78 degrees. Beautiful day on the water! Made a makeshift fish cleaning station back at the Airbnb! Worked out pretty well!
