Lake Erie Walleye Jigging

Last weekend we did very well jigging, so we started the morning with the jigging rods. Couldn't get anything to go on jigs, so we switched to blades. Lots of moves and we got 6 nice fish on Captain Jays Blade Baits. Pulled out the trolling gear and tried a few areas. First two stops were slow, the third stop was fantastic. We saw water temps anywhere from 51-54 degrees. Blade bait fish came from 13-15' and we trolled 24-28'. Deep Bandits in Sea Sick Frog by JT Customs was our best crank. Speed was 1.8-2mph. Circles were productive. Lots of doubles. The new Precise Walleye Crank landed a few, which was great as we only had one in the water, so it was a great start for this new crank! Deep Bandits and Suspending Bandits 60 back and PWC 45 back were our best leads. Good luck and watch out for boats! The lake was packed full and it was a zig zag parade this morning. FISH-ON 🐟
